Claire's background spans a variety of experiences all focusing on people. Some highlights of her career include the following:

As a principal analyst at Forrester Research, Claire focused on identifying and developing corporate talent through research, writing, and advisory services. She used her technology expertise to help organizations select the best vendor technologies to meet their needs and future goals.
Before her analyst role, Claire was director of the Grants Resource Center at California's Alameda County Office of Education. Her charter was to create the vision, plan development, and set policy for a resource and technical assistance center for educators and community members, as well as to develop and produce eLearning courses for educators.
While at the Lawrence Hall of Science, University of California, Berkeley, Claire was responsible for helping K-12 teachers throughout California learn strategies for integrating technology into the teaching of math, science, social science and language arts. She also produced videos used statewide on using technology in the classroom.
At KQED, San Francisco’s public television station, Claire directed the instructional television service for school districts in the San Francisco Bay Area and produced television programs for young people.
